Additional comparison frame-grabs for the VX2000 and TRV900 are here     (since I appear to have made a poor selection for the VX2000 sample      earlier - the right edge is softer than it is for the TRV900 in the original      pair...).

Corners and edges are softer and lower in contrast at f3.4 with the TRV900 compared      with the VX2000 (though this would likely improve at smaller stops), but most of the      frame compares well with the VX2000 under these conditions.
