About $600, with even better results than the other choices, but for
better results yet, a 35mm f2 and an 85mm f1.8 would be good - or if
you REALLY want to economize, the 50mm f1.8 alone is VERY cheap, and
hard to beat optically..... (and maybe if you use the 28-200 at VERY
small stops, it would be OK as a second lens......;-) If one zoom is
what you want, and the 24-120 is too expensive,
the 28-85 can be pretty good.
