If you need a zoom (for interiors?!! I generally need all the speed and wide-aperture image quality I can get, which means primes [20mm f2.8
or 24mm f2.8 {used at f5.6 widest}, or 28mm f2.8 AIS and 28mm f3.5 AI/AIS
{useable wide open}, or the 35mm's for speed and good wide-aperture
quality]), look at the 24-120mm if you can afford it - image quality
(in a good sample) is very high, especially at the short end, even at
"wider" apertures...
