The video is in process of becoming what??? (Editing is the problem,
though I love to shoot "stream-of-consciousness" footage with
fisheye adapters in public places, or nature-pattern stuff in the
many local natural areas.
The large-format is unused - I have contact-printed everything,
and intend to print for a possible show, to see if there is now
a market (I have had many museum shows, few sales, but that was
a ways back) - if there isn't, it gets sold for digital video gear.
The medium-format is a recent acquisition, after avoiding it for
so long... I sold my Rollei 3.5 F Planar, and started collecting
Mamiya for commercial work, mostly group photos.
The 35mm gear is used for most things. Commercially, I do publicity,
architecture, school (pretty-picture) catalog, local landscape,
aerial, weddings, etc. (Anything location - NO studio-type work!)
For myself, a n y t h i n g found - no set-up work (I have had
shows of square landscapes, very-low-contrast images, 5-tone
graphic images of anything (shape/tone images) - maybe 45 or so
(and my work is in several museum collections). I do fairly little
"serious" work anymore (though for a couple of years recently, I
was madly shooting CLOSE-ups of bugs...), though - the 'net keeps
me too busy ;-). (Well, actually, my heart is more in video,
these days....)
