A good sample of the 35-105 Nikkor (MF) F3.5-4.5 is sharp to the corners
at medium distances at all FL's wide open (in macro, from about 50-105mm,
and at infinity from 35mm to about 85mm it should be sharp to the corners
wide-open). Only for 3 of 11 samples was this true - but a good sample of
this lens is remarkably good for a zoom, and worth looking for...
