The Nikkormats, though good user cameras if the meters are still
accurate, do not have a lot of monetary value at this point, and
will not cover what you seek - which is probably an F2 with MD-3
motor (or an F3 with MD-4 motor {I have one to sell reasonably
cheap, if interested ;-}). Later AF bodies would have quieter motors,
and allow "trap" AF focus - so, much as I am not fond of the current
auto cameras either, they may offer several functions that could
be useful to you.
