Yes - I have received .bat, .com, and a few others,
including one or two that would normally look OK (but
weren't). As for reporting the sender to stop this,
unfortunately the sender is the one with the virus
(it sends email with the virus, plus often another
random file, and can then damage HD data, I've heard...).
I received several from Spain, and most from one individual
I've tried to contact to get him to stop the virus
from sending out email from his computer - but no word
(other than more virus emails...;-) yet...
(So far, none today, though...)
