In addition, you can select "flicker removal", use
the largest possible text sizes, use fonts with minimal
horizontal straight edges and thin sections in the
letters, slightly soften the edges with "better
Gaussian blur", add black edges to the letters, run
text over "friendly" simple backgrounds, and avoid
TV-problematic colors like red and orange ("222"
white, pure yellow, and not too bright greens and
blues work well). Experiment to find the best
combinations...
