Avoid the Sony filters - they are poor Tiffen in disguise...
A 30->37mm step-up ring (or even a 30->37 + 37->49/52)
makes more sense, since you can then use better, cheaper,
more commonly available filters, shades, etc. Hoya makes
good, cheap filters, BTW (avoid the ones with plastic
rims, though). I would get a circular polarizer, UV or
skylight, and I find an 81A useful on Sony one-chippers
with the DWB preset to warm up the cold color (the 81A
and pol. together can be fun...).
