The DSR 200 has essentially the VX-1000 front-end - good,
but go with the DSR250 or VX-2000/PD150 for the better
low-light handling, better color, and slightly better image
sharpness. If you are used to a shoulder-mount mostly-manual
operation camera, and already have a good lens to fit, from
what I've heard/seen, you would likely be pleased with the
JVC (in Mini-DV format). For even more money/size/weight,
though....;-)
