Well, at least with Sony Mini-DV camcorders, the little
battery that comes with the camera runs it for about the
same time a fresh Ni-Cad would run the equivalent Hi-8
in the past - but now we have the options of getting
extra medium-sized very long run time batteries (by
old standards), and larger EXTREMELY long run time
batteries (by old standards - for a modest price, size,
and weight compared with similar capability for Hi-8
cameras, before Li-ion batteries). Seems like an
advantage to me... Why complain about this???
