Well, the answer is, it could look like anything...;-)
The question is not a simople one...;-)
- the image quality of Mini-DV varies considerably
from model to model, and can go from barely better
than 8mm/good-VHS to close to the best *video*
(not film) you've seen on a good TV...
- the image is limited to 720X(the number of scan
lines) (different for PAL and NTSC), and cannot
be better...
- when shown on TV (an interlaced display), motion
will look good...
- when shown on a computer screen (a non-interlaced
display), motion will not look good (nor will the
colors and brightness/contrast likely look right).
