For mini-DV capture/play of AVI files, UDMA drives work well.
For high-quality analogue-in capture, they can be used with
RAID in pairs for increased speed, or the fastest SCSI drives
can be used singly... BTW, if you want a nice pair of SCSI-II
9-gig drives and an Adaptec 2940UW card, lemme know....;-)
