I do not believe the astigmatism could be the problem (it relates to
focus of objects at different angles, not to alignments). You did
not say if the misalignment was in slides only, or all types of photos.
If slides only, peel apart the mount of one you do not care about,
and chances are, if processed by Kodalux, some counter-clockwise
rotation is due to the mounting (sigh, I have talked to them a few
times about this, and horizons still came back tilted). It is not
unusual to find the mask in the camera slightly rotated. Also,
it is possible you depress the right side of the camera as you depress
the shutter release. (I catch myself doing this occasionally, and
I am normally VERY aware of the horizon line.)
