Simplest way I can think of, this early in the day,
is to go ahead and make a video file of the photos
with the transitions you want, with cropping and
placement (and background key color) determined
using the "clip" filter and motion-tool. Make also
the backgrounds-video file. Import both, place
the photo file on V2 or above, and set the keying...
This permits changes and transitions in the backgrounds
independent of changes and transitions in the photos,
and variability in the framing/cropping of the photos...
