As I recall, undo two screws, and the handle-surrounding
remote is off. Put it back together, add an extension cable
(a stereo mini-plug cord with sub-mini plug adapters - from
Radio Shack), and you can hold the remote at some distance
from the camera (and can operate it without camera jiggle).
Otherwise, you can figure out a way to mount it on the Bogen
handle...
