This is true for pros - but I would bet that 95% of
Premiere software is now bought by first-timers, so
the less-intuitive Premiere opening interface is, I
think, a mistake. The alternative I offered (which
is easy to set up in Premiere) would make more sense
as the opening interface - with pros able to modify
that one easily to be what is now offered as
standard (and confusing to beginners...;-).
