What you have is sufficient - with the addition of a
video-files dedicated HD, which can be about any good
UDMA HD produced in the last few years, and 5400rpm is
fine for Mini-DV... You may want to look into finding out
what the fastest CPU is that will work on your mother-board
(socket type, chip type and speed - probably with a BIOS
update, downloadable from the MB maker's web site), since
this may also be a very cheap and worthwhile upgrade...
