If the Canon mic has a 1/8" stereo plug, try the following:
Get a Radio Shack 2-mono-to-one-stereo 1/8" adapter, plug
the Canon mic in one side (one channel will be muted - and,
depending on the mic type, this may not sound good...), and
the wireless (assuming it has a 1/8" mono plug...) into
the other side - and the adapter into the camera. Channel
balance will need to be adjusted at some point... BTW, it
may work better to use two wireless mics (switched to
different frequencies...), hooked together as above - I do
this often (you can mix in post to undo "ping-pong" stereo).
