If the two different mics are about the same sensitivity, or
at least one is adjustable (it is easy to make a small mic
pad from a couple of resistors and maybe a capacitor, +
connectors and wire), you can connect them with a compact
cheap Radio Shack adapter that takes R and L mini-plug in,
to stereo mini-plug out. Mix the mono channels during
editing.
