The 85mm f1.8 AF Nikkor performs very well at minimum focus distance,
unlike the lenses mentioned above, and may therefore perform well on
tubes (if manually focused to minimum focus distance...). The 180 AF is
fine on short tubes at wide stops, and good on longer tubes if stopped
down some. And, it is too bad about that otherwise really remarkably
good zoom...;-)
