With small scrolling titles, it can be useful in
Premiere (any version), but a trick I learned was
avoiding fonts and styles with a lot of horizontal
lines if you are scrolling (for other motions,
"fm" is less useful...), and, of course, the larger
the type, the less the problems... I find some colors
much better than others, too, even with the black
outline from the multiple shadows - "222-222-222 white"
is good, as is, surprisingly, pure yellow (though it
is not an NTSC "safe" color) - and medium-tone medium-
to-low saturation blues, blue-greens, and greens).
Pure orange, red, and purple are the worst for
text clarity, but with low saturation, even these
colors can work well...
