Ah, I was wondering....;-) Do you know why? It may be for only functional convenience reasons (though stop-down metering is easy, and actually can be more accurate), or it may risk damage to the electrical contacts (unlikely - but it is worth checking the inside of the bayonette to see
if anything can contact the contacts). Thanks for letting me know.
(I may add this to the exchange, if that is OK, and I can find it again.)
