Not so much for street photography (though a little) as for about anything else... It is a great viewfinder! The F3 meter is not
bothered (or changed) by it, as it is on the 3 other Nikon "F"
models that accept it. It is nice to not need to be glued to the
camera to take a picture (maybe an advantage in street work).
And it is nice to see the whole image in a large black field -
sure makes composition easier! It helps me with bug, aerial,
architectural, landscape, and people photography. It is like having
one of those mini LCD panal VF's that are on some video cameras
attached to the top of the camera so it is possible to see the VF
image, while being able to look past it to the subject. Nice!
