I made a pretty fair approximation of the "light-saber"
noise with Cool Edit - but I have a bit of an electronic
music background, which helped...;-) You can also record
sounds and use the editor to mix/modify them. If you use
a MIDI program with some sound cards, you can use these
sounds and "play" them with a keyboard, etc...
