Most audio tasks can be accomplished using Premiere for
filtering and mixing - for those that can't be done in
Premiere (mainly noise-reduction and "de-clipping" for
me), I used to recommend the cheap-but-good Cool Edit,
but it appears to have been withdrawn, alas...!
