Well, the name is "David", but...;-)
With DV-AVI files (mini-DV format), what you are looking for
exists: the DPS Spark ver.2 software for the Spark FireWire card
accepts a "play-list" of AVI files, and plays them out as one big
seamless video (I just finished editing a two-hour video, and sent
each hour to tape this way...). 'Course, for non-DV AVI files......;-)
