We don't ;-( Slides "pop" soon after entering the gate, requiring
refocusing. Slides don't pop the same way. Different kinds of slide
mounts allow different curvatures in the film, which "curved field"
projector lenses cannot compensate exactly. AF systems don't work
very well for refocusing slides reliably. Manual focus on a remote
control is the most practical system, but is a pain in the neck to
use. Slides don't always enter the gate in the same plane, so glass
mounting (expensive, troublesome, and not very good for the long run)
is not always effective. I am still waiting for a good solution for
common slide projector deficiencies.
Uh, Hope This Helps....;-)
