Planetaria(?;-) use VERY expensive specialized projectors
to simulate night skies. Shooting clean wide-angle views
(or for that matter, narrow-angle views...) of night
skies, with good "sky-tone" and point-source color,
overall image smoothness, and freedom from common
optical problems that show up with point light sources
is hard enough with standard photo-film techniques;
it is about impossible, I suspect, with video - at least
without very expensive specialized gear...
