Microsoft has a free program that is WONDERFUL called Microsoft
Music Producer - it is easy to use, allows you to "compose"
reams of royalty-free MIDI "music" in dozens of styles,
with lots of "personality" choices, and with a few band options.
Key, tempo, stereo position, and loudness of each instrument
are easily adjusted - and if you have a good wave-table sound
card (and maybe a neat MIDI program, like Midisoft Studio 4,
which allows modifying and polishing material produced in MMP),
rather pleasant "music" can be made to order...
