This one is easy... Just get a couple of the NPF950/960 Sony
batteries - they are relatively compact, fit well on the
camera (no dangling wires), and they will run the camera
for a VERY, VERY long time! With this solution, remote
power problems have been solved.

Possibly - but these are large, not all that high in
capacity compared with the small Lithium-Ion batteries,
and are not as reliable (NiCads...). A couple of the
mid-size Sony batteries can also serve as excellent small
back-ups (and these are very small, light, and easy to
pack). Why fight success by using a more complicated, less
reliable, larger solution than the one that exists? ;-)
