For DPS Spark and a 450MHz-clocked Celeron 300A
(128-megs RAM, UDMA drives, Premiere 5.1) it takes
about 12 seconds to render a 1 second cross dissolve
(i.e., 2 minutes for a 10 second dissolve - which works
out to be about the same as the difference between our
CPU clock speeds... [200 vs. 450]).
