The following is magic, so be careful...! ;-)
Fit a rubber band around only the filter rim,
stretch your thumb and first finger around
the filter rim, apply pressure as evenly as
possible inward (toward filter center) on the
greatest part of the rim possible, and *only
then* attempt to rotate your hand and/or the
camcorder to unscrew the filter. 99.999% of
the time, this works easily...
(This is not covered under warranty, and I
would avoid Tiffen filters, if possible - look
at Hoya single-coated ones for high quality
at a reasonable price...)
