I generally advise against the Lloyds loader because of the felt trap
(others are air), so your good experience with it is interesting.
BTW, if film is not stored in Kodak cassettes long (the tongue in the
trap reduces the closure in time, and the trap can leak), and if the
traps are cleaned each time the cassettes are loaded, I have found no
upper limit to the number of times they can be reused without problems.
