True for the one-chipper camcorder market, but not
"prosumer", yet...;-) But what opportunity this "affords"
to scoop up these cheap (but surprisingly good) little
cameras at bargain close-out prices and have fun playing
with them! Heck, even a very modest production can now
afford 5-6 camera positions during a shoot - and a couple
of weeks ago I almost had enough camcorders to shoot
"Matrix"-style shots...! ;-) For beginners who realize that
the newest is not necessarily better than the "old", buying
a close-out/demo camcorder provides a cheap way to get started.
