Unpushed, Velvia (at 40) is contrasty; pushed one stop (80), it is
very contrasty; pushed two stops (160), it is absurdly contrasty,
and probably much stranger in colors than it is normally (in
addition to losing its blacks). Why not use Sensia or Provia
(or Elite) which are all truly 100 ASA, and which can be pushed to
200 (with some increase in contrast). The quality would be better
than pushed Velvia, I think.
