As it happens, someone just sent me two photos, each shot
twice using the TRV-900 Sony (one "progressive scan", the
other not). In both cases the differences were NOT subtle!
The "progressive scan" images were smoother, and very
noticeably sharper (and most likely at least the equal of
those taken with a 720x480 still-only camera...).
