Doesn't anyone ever read my many posts on this...?!?! ;-)
Megapixel CCDs do most certainly have effects on the
motion-video appearance! The megapixel motion-video
tends to be sharper, with slightly better color, but
also with more motion-artifacting. As a result, I often
recommend the Sony TRV11/17/18-PC5/9 level of one-chipper
camcorders over the megapixel models for their more
generally "pleasant" pictures and slightly better
low-light range over the megapixel models - which can
have better-looking pictures under conditions favorable
to them (low-contrast lighting, and/or with little or
no motion), but they are more limiting... BTW, if you
ever want to part with your PC9, let me know...;-) For
