Of course - I never said anything else!;-) I expressed the opinion,
which I have not changed, that the (obvious-type) filters are over-used.
This opinion has apparently made you, as a marketer of filters, nervous.;-)
Fear not - if others like me were your market, you would do well (as I
pointed out earlier, I own several *pounds* of the things [though I do
favor Hoya {an inexpensive brand} and Nikkor filters....;-] - I just don't
find the need to use most of them...). As I also pointed out earlier in the thread, I do use UV's (though only for lens protection, since they do not
reduce haze...) - a lot of them, since there is one on every Nikkor I own
that will fit one. I also use skylight filters - on the four non-Nikkor
lenses I own (in various strengths to balance their cooler colors nearer
to Nikon-normal).
Methinks it is time for me to drop out of this thread (as I have
in another thread we were both contributing to), since little new or
useful seems to be turning up...;-)
