Maybe I didn't understand what you are doing, but...
Why would you render to mpeg and then try to return
that to the VX-2000...? Either render it to mpeg and
output it to a disk format, or leave it in DV-format
and output it to the VX-2000 (which should be done in
any case to preserve the highest-quality master of
the edit...). There seems little point to exporting
an mpeg to a Mini-DV camcorder by analogue means,
since the quality will be poor, and the video will
lose its formatting...
