Ummm..., I was exploring it in the '60's...
A photo of a cat on my web site (see "Aht Fotoz", first photo...),
shot wide open with a Nikkor 55mm f3.5 lens, is mostly out of focus,
but contains sharp-looking elements due to the "bad bokeh" "double-line" characteristics of the lens (and The Museum of Modern Art in NYC
bought a copy...;-). BTW, "Ft. Steele Car" (same location on the web page),
and the "Sun-Plant" series (under "Changing Showz") also use "fuzzy"...;-)
