No, the body AI tab interfers with a non-AI lens (lenses without the
ridges at the rear edge of the aperture ring) being attached to any
AI body, AF or not (except ones where the tab can be moved out of the
way [all AI F2's, FT3, EL-2, FE, FM, F3, and F4 can do that, and use
non-AI lenses metered stopped down]). The non-AI, AI, AIS, E, AF, and P lenses can be mounted on all bodies (with stop-down metering required
with some combinations).
