"NPF-960" is Sony's largest battery, with more than
5000 mAh storage... In general, it *appears* all camcorder
lithium-ion batteries are actually made by Panasonic,
regardless of branding... (I do not *know* this, I hasten
to add...! ;-). If so, then, no, it probably doesn't matter
what the brand is so long as it is of a size/price you want,
and it has the necessary features on it to work with your
camera...
