Hmmmm... Generally there is NO way to mount non-AI lenses (with
aperture rings - non-AI mirrors and PC lenses fit/work just fine)
on AI bodies (except for ones like the FM, FE, F2A, F2AS, F3 and
F4 which have provision for lifting the body AI tab...). It
generally requires a LOT of deformation of the ring that the tab
is attached to that goes around the bayonette mount... Even if you
do attach the lens, there will be no meter hook-up, so exposure
is likely to be wrong unless you set the tab to full clockwise
position and use the DOF preview (none on the FG...) while
metering. No other damage is likely...
It costs about $30/lens to have jtw3@aol.com "AI" the lenses...
