Hi--
Hello, your lens evaluation states that "non-AI PC's generally fit AI cameras though they nudge the coupling tab a bit...". I have an AI camera, the Nikon FE2, and wondered you've successfully mounted this pc lens on it. The lens is currently being auctioned on eBay, and I don't want to bid on it if it's not going to fit correctly.
Thanks in advance for a (possible) reply. Also thanks for sharing your list; all the info has been a great help!

The FE-2 has a plastic AI ring, as I recall, and it is more fragile than
metal, but also can deform a bit to pass the lens. After mounting the lens,
nudge the AI tab to make sure it is back in the position it is in when no lens
is on the camera, or readings will be incorrect. Also, always meter with the
lens centered (the meter reads off the screen, which will darken on one side
due to the off-centering of the lens relative to the screen's Fresnel lens),
and with your eye close enough to block light from entering the eyepiece
(since lens is stopped down, and stray light entering from the eyepiece is
therefore relatively more important).
