I did not check out your examples, but I have found
the noise-reduction module in Cool Edit excellent
for this purpose, even if the noise is not smooth
and constant (the type of noise it works best with),
so long as it is fairly constant (like crowds talking,
LOTS of insects together, fans, car noises, etc.).
I use multiple different fft samples, mix over-reduced
copies of the tracks with the original, and manually
boost material I want to stand out.
Experiment.
No program will do it all - but I have saved spoken
words from ***VERY*** noisy backgrounds (more like
"forgrounds"...;-), with some effort...
