I do not like non-tele zooms... (OK for bright-light or emergencies, but
for highest-quality images, no!). The 24-120 was good at f11 (hardly
"convenient"!), the 35-70 f2.8 is OK at "wide" stops, but the range is
useless. Try two non-zooms instead (24 + 85; 35 + 85 or 105M; etc.) - the
results will be sharper images which can be taken in much lower light
levels. If you want a P&S, the F100/SB-28/zoom-lens rig is cumbersome - a
compact P&S will serve better... (Sorry, but I do not understand the
appeal of converting good-quality photo gear into awkward so-so quality
P&S gear...! ;-) Changing lenses is not really very hard, I think...! ;-)
