Most of the differences between these two excellent cameras
is in the audio details, the most obvious being (other than
XLRs on the PD150) being the mono short-shotgun on the
PD150 (easily supplimented with a good stereo omni) and the
stereo near-omni on the VX-2000 (fairly easily and cheaply
supplimented with a mono short-shotgun). Both sound good,
but the advantages of the shotgun are obvious during the
ceremony, if you are not using wireless mics, but during the
reception, a good stereo mic can sometimes be preferable.
BTW, I would keep the TRV-900 for second-camera and for
backup - you can get more during the ceremony, even if one
camera of the two is run unattended, and it is hard to
explain camera failure - and unnecessary, if you have a backup...
(I just bought another TRV-900 as the third after two VX-2000s
for the ceremony, and as compact backup during the reception...;-).
