Yes - that is one of the points of editing...;-)
With programs like Premiere, MS-Pro, etc., you can add
many parallel audio tracks. You can also use these tracks
for adding altered versions (noise-reduced, compressed,
EQ'd, etc.) of the original tracks without throwing
away the original tracks or losing their picture synch.
