The Nikon "F" body has one feature that none other has - and I miss it:
You can take as many frames as you want (say, of an evening landscape),
roll the film back [without opening the camera to check a registration
marking] however many frames you want to double expose (say, with a moon
image shot with a different lens), and make the second exposures with near-perfect frame registration. (You do it by watching the dot on the
shutter release button while rewinding - let it turn 360 degrees for every frame you want to double expose, then add a partial rotation at the end
[since the wind mechanism of the F registers the frame position, it will
take up the extra partial frame position, and register the double {or
triple, etc.} exposed frames quite accurately, unlike any other camera
I have tried]).
Hope This Helps
